Sinai Peninsula, a holy land and Egyptian border

The Sinai Peninsula is located northeast of Egypt; it is the only Asiatic  part of Egypt .

The peninsula has strategic and spiritual importance as it is a region that shares borders with other countries such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Israel. The spirituality of Sinai is that it is a biblical place where Moses received the ten commandments on Mount Sinai.

The highest point in Egypt is on the Peninsula; It is the top of the Mount of Sant. Catherine with (2,642 m) high in which hiking activities are performed, mountain climbing and from which you can observe the best sunrise.

The most tourist cities of the peninsula are Sharm el Sheikh, Dahab, Taba and Newebai.

Sinai locals live in desert tribes, which are part of the Bedouin ethnic group and have peculiar traditions that tourists can discover during desert safari excursions.
